Johnny Cash

Johnny Cash is a rescue dog who was abandoned and found running loose near the intersection of Lincoln Road and Flatbush Avenue on August 16th. At the time, he was sick and undernourished. As it turned out, a number or people came together to rescue and care for this pup, and he found a home. Unfortunately this amazing pup found his way back to the shelter. He deserves his forever home! Johnny Cash is neutered, has had all of his shots, and is ready to be adopted. Very much still a frisky young dog, he has a friendly, affectionate temperament with humans, as well as other canines. Because he is so energized and playful, this pup would be best situated with a relatively active owner. He needs a lot of exercise and some additional leash training. Johnny Cash is friendly with all people, including kids. He is socialized, happy-go-lucky and well-adjusted; not seemingly traumatized by his ordeal at all. He is really responsive and obviously intelligent. So, if your seeking a rescue with a loving, loyal temperament, AND loves to play fetch, this is the one and only rescue dog for you. He is a buddy!
